CAREER: Successful racing career as a 3 year old in France, winning and being placed in several races.

PROBLEM: In June 2018 following a disappointing run at Craon we discovered that he had a problem with his back and appeared to be very stressed and unsettled.  This resulted in a 5 month lay-off from the racecourse.

TREATMENT: After a consultation with the trainer P & F Monfort, we introduced Murphy’s Herbal Bute into his diet, starting with the loading dose of 2 scoops a day then on the maintenance rate.  He was also treated with a course of Murphy’s Ulcer Guard that soothed and assisted the healing of the whole of the gastrointestinal tract, and eliminated gastric ulcers.

RESULTS: Gary came back into work in October 2018 with no more signs of stress or reoccurrence of the ulcer problem.  He seemed very comfortable in his preparation for racing, which resulted in 4 races between the end of November 2018 and the beginning of February 2019, with 2 wins and a 2nd place.  After his second win at Pornichet he was claimed.
