Jenny has been involved with horses from an early age, starting in the Pony Club and competing in all disciplines, in particular the mounted games team. Jenny’s main interest was in showjumping, and following the purchase of a young 13.2 pony, had a very successful junior career gaining many 13.2 and 14.2 championships, and a particular highlight was being chosen to jump internationally as part of the British team. Moving into Senior ranks Jenny concentrated on backing and producing young horses, qualifying and being placed in the Newcomers, Foxhunter and Grade C finals.

Relocating to the Isle of Man Jenny purchased a 6 year old mare who went on to have a successful show jumping career, including a period of time competing in southern Spain and a successful Spanish Sunshine Tour. This mare is now 23 years old and is one of the reasons we were keen to start the equine herb company. She has benefited enormously from the herbal products, in particular following a serious tendon injury and suffering from particular discomfort during her seasons, and is still fit and sound and enjoying work. Having always had an interest in breeding, Jenny decided to put her mare in foal. Jenny bred one of the top scoring 3 year old showjumpers at the futurity gradings, who has gone on to compete successfully gaining the area BS points trophy in 2017. Jenny is now planning to put this lovely mare in foal.

Jenny is a qualified Accountant and has also gained her diploma in herbalism. And as our resident practicing herbalist would be happy to assist with queries or advice on a particular issue.

Please feel free to contact Jenny via our contact form.
